Collins Writes to Shulkin on Behalf of Veterans Seeking Care Through Choice Program
WASHINGTON—On behalf of military veterans in northeast Georgia, Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) sent a letter addressing concerns about access to the Veterans Choice Program (Choice) to Secretary of Veterans Affairs David Shulkin.
Numerous veterans from Georgia's Ninth Congressional District report that Veterans Affairs has denied them access to medical care through Choice and attributed that denial to a lack of program funding. Collins has asked Secretary Shulkin for a response to these reports and the assurance that veterans entitled to health services through Choice have access to those services.
The letter is here.
