Collins celebrates National Day of Prayer
WASHINGTON—Each year, our nation pauses on the first Thursday of May to observe the National Day of Prayer. To celebrate this year's day of prayer, Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) shared a special message.

The National Day of Prayer was first created in 1952 by a joint resolution of Congress and was signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. Each year since its inception, the president has signed a proclamation encouraging all Americans to pray on this day.
